Members agree to abide by:

  • The Canadian Psychological Association’s Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines
  • The Newfoundland and Labrador Psychology Board’s Standards of Professional Conduct for psychologists.

Membership Types

Membership in the Association of Psychology in Newfoundland Labrador can be obtained through one of three methods as outlined below.

Requirements: Masters degree OR Doctoral degree in Psychology from a recognized University as judged by the Executive.*

Requirements: Full-time student who is actively engaged in studies pursuant to higher qualifications in Psychology as deemed appropriate by Executive.*

* if applicants are registered with the NLPB, APNL recognizes that educational background has been successfully evaluated.
